Before embarking on my path in feng shui, I earned a degree in the allied health field of Dental Hygiene. I've worked as a dental hygienist since 1992.  Although, gaining valuable experience in this field, I knew I wanted to do more.

My first introduction to feng shui was several years ago. I'll always remember the first feng shui tip I tried. The recommended technique was supposed to bring more wealth into your home.  The instructions were to place a coin wrapped in red paper under a plant in the left corner of your home.  I thought, being an open minded person, why not, see what happens.  I don't recall how long it took after placing this wrapped up coin under the plant, until we received an unexpected check in the mail.  After that experience, I was hooked.  I began reading any feng shui book I could find.  I found the principles of this ancient Chinese art to be very intriguing and somewhat confusing and complicated.

After putting the recommended feng shui techniques into practice while hiring a feng shui consultant, as well as driving my husband a little crazy, by redecorating, hanging pictures, wind chimes, crystals, and building a bridge on our property, I became amazed and continually intrigued by the major shifts we felt in our lives.

I soon began offering feng shui advice to others, and realized how much fun I was having while becoming a feng shui sleuth in others homes. This realization led me deeper into the study of feng shui by enrolling into a Feng Shui Certification program.

I continued on my path of learning, also studying the healing practice of Reiki, the ancient art of dowsing, as well as becoming an intuitive awareness counselor. I enjoy using all of these healing modalities in my practice of feng shui, and look forward to the ways feng shui continually teaches and amazes me!  My goal in my practice is to not only demystify feng shui, but more importantly to help bring my clients more awareness of how we are affected by our environments and what simple changes can be made to their homes or offices for a more joyous, prosperous and fulfilling life.

My roots are in Connecticut, where I was born and raised and continue to reside, with my wonderful, supportive husband, Don and our three beautiful, amazing children, Alexandra, Jordan and Leo, and our grey, cat named Tabby.   My other interests include spending time with my family and friends, nature photography, hiking, music, dance, gardening, travel, natural home building and environmental concerns as well as exploring spirituality.
